Erin Black, Cheer Director

Experience:

• 4 years on Varsity competitive cheerleading squad at Anderson High School

• Indiana University Cheerleader

• All-Star cheerleading coach for 6 years

• Taught partner stunting class for hopeful college cheerleaders

• UCA Summer Staff

• Cheered in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with other all star cheerleaders from around the nation

• 4 years as gymnastics coach

• Coached all levels of all star teams

• Experience as an all-star judge at competitions

Philosophy:

My philosophy is to foster a winning attitude both on and off the cheer floor, while helping the cheerleaders develop both physically and mentally.  My favorite part of coaching is instilling a true enjoyment and passion for cheerleading, while playing a role in the lives of the cheerleaders.  I believe my coaching style allows for all team members to have ownership and share in the successes of the team. 

Personal:

• Married to Todd for eight years with one daughter, Samara, 3 years old

• Graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Marketing Degree

• Full-time career as a Medical Sales Representative
