Experience:

• Gymnast since 10 years of age

• Competed as a level 8 Gymnast

• Competed in McDonald’s mixed pairs gymnastic championship

• Tumbling Coach Beam School of Dance in Fernandina, Florida

• Tumbling Coach and Assistant PE Coach at the Elementary Level

• Tumbling Coach at Dance Magic Performing Arts Center, working with dancers, cheerleaders and tumblers ranging in age from 3 to 35 years old.

• Coach for Power Tumbling Team – Dance Magic

• Power Tumbling Coach Kids Spirit Gym. Successfully coaching athletes from sub-beginner through elite levels.

• Members of Patt’s power tumbling team have won first, second and third places at the AAU Junior Olympics and the USTA Nationals

• Indiana Pacers & Indianapolis Colts pre-game shows

• Tumbled for an NBC Indiana Hoosier Lottery commercial

Certifications:

• USTA Certified Bronze Level Tumbling Coach

• USAG Safety Certified

• Certified in First Aid and CPR

• Attended numerous workshops and clinics for coaching sub-beginners up to Elite tumblers

• Recently attended the USTA National Congress participating in courses and clinics on lower Intermediate and Upper Level trampoline and tumbling skills and routines.

Personal:

• I competed as a gymnast myself and I can relate to student’s feelings, fears, and goals.

• I am a great spotter which makes my students feel safe and secure.

• I have a gift for teaching kids of all ages, even 2 and 3 year olds.

• I still tumble daily which I believe is why kids love to take class from me.

• I have a great family...my wife Kathy, son Ethan and daughter Brittany.

• My coaching philosophy is that there is no such thing as “I can’t”. Saying “I can’t” in my class will earn you 50 crunches on the spot.
